the curly-haired writer and designer who created Chapel & Lane, a lifestyle and design blog. I first started blogging right out of college, and I haven’t looked back.
But what I didn’t know back then is that blogging and design would become such a huge part of my life. I was a girl obsessed—whenever I had a free moment, I was researching blogging and reading as much as I could about the blogging and social media industries.
That first blog has since morphed into the personal brand I’ve built today with Chapel & Lane that has allowed me to develop my professional skills, work with popular lifestyle brands, and help my fellow creatives and bloggers create brands they love.
Amid all the likes, double taps, and heart eye emojis online, there’s you and your unique story.
I know you’ve got what it takes to build your passion and share your heart and vision with the world.
I’m here to help you make that happen.
If you’re as nosy as I am…
I’ve got a thing for sarcastic humor and witty wordplay, and you can usually find me trying to wrangle my hair into a style that looks like I (sort of) tried.
When I’m not blogging, I’m practicing photography, hoarding too many planners and notebooks, and perfecting my coffee to cream ratio.
I grew up in a little Southern town in Tennessee, but I don't own a pair of cowboy boots, just so we're clear.
I feel most creative around 1 o’clock in the morning when I’m trying to go to sleep. That’s when the best blog posts are written.
favorite tv show
I’ve seen every episode at least 20 times, and I feel spiritually connected to Lorelai Gilmore.
